Compatibility
Check this before you buy.
Matter ships as VST3 and CLAP. There is no Audio Unit (AU) build.
If your DAW only loads AU plugins, Matter will not appear in its plugin list. This affects Logic Pro and GarageBand in particular - see the table below before purchasing.
Supported plugin formats
A browser build (Web Audio, no install) is also available today at app.mattersynth.com.
Not currently supported
If you exclusively use one of these hosts, Matter will not load for you yet:
Logic Pro - Logic only loads Audio Unit (AU) plugins. Matter does not ship an AU build yet.
Pro Tools - Pro Tools only loads AAX plugins. Matter does not ship an AAX build.
GarageBand - GarageBand only loads Audio Unit (AU) plugins, same limitation as Logic Pro.
Refunds
Buying Matter for a host it does not support yet is the one thing this page exists to prevent - please check the table above first. If you did buy it by mistake and it doesn't load in your DAW, contact us and we'll sort out a refund.
