Does Matter work as a DAW plugin?

The plugin - VST3 and CLAP for macOS and Windows, CLAP on Linux - is in final development and included with your purchase as a free update. You can buy Matter today, and the plugin build will be delivered to your license email as soon as it ships, letting you run the same instrument inside Ableton Live, FL Studio, Reaper, Bitwig, and other VST3/CLAP hosts. There is no Audio Unit (AU) build, so Logic Pro and GarageBand aren't supported - check the system requirements page before buying if that's your DAW. Until the plugin ships, you can play the same engine as a free browser demo.

Is Matter a VST3 or CLAP plugin?

Both. Matter ships as a VST3 and a CLAP plugin on macOS and Windows, and as CLAP on Linux. There is no Audio Unit (AU) or AAX build. The plugin is in final development; the same synth engine is playable today as a free browser demo.

Does Matter work in Ableton Live, FL Studio, Bitwig, or Reaper?

Yes - all four load VST3 and/or CLAP plugins, so Matter will run in them once the plugin ships. Bitwig and Reaper support CLAP natively; Ableton Live and FL Studio load the VST3 build. Logic Pro, GarageBand, and Pro Tools are not supported, because Matter has no Audio Unit or AAX build.
